Northallerton is the county town of North Yorkshire and is the seat of The North Yorkshire County Council and Hambleton District council. Set between the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west and the North York Moors National Park to the east the town has been a centre of communications for centuries. Roots Farm Shop and Café, Northallerton. Roots was established in 2008 through the need to improve the sustainability of the family farm and a desire to sell quality local food to the community. The farm ran by the Hutchinson family is a mixed beef and arable enterprise based at Home Farm, which is part of the Arncliffe Estate. We would like to make all who visit feel part of this family farm, as they share our little piece of rural Yorkshire in all its seasonal glory.
If anything is American, it is the belief that there can always be a new start. Allene Tew is the personification of this idea. Allene became the owner of several houses.
